Funding for the arXMLiv Project
The arXMLiv project is chronically underfunded, it largely depends on the enthusiasm of Jacobs Undergraduate students, who see the project as a way to get involved in research early in their studies.
- The project has been kicked off by summer funding for Ioan Sucan from Design Science, Inc in 2006
- The TeXDocC project (DFG) has subcontracted the arXMLiv project to provide a conversion web service and the development of LaTeXML bindings for specific LaTeX classes.
- Jacobs University supplies computing resources and network bandwidth.
If you have a body of LaTeX documents that need to be translated to XML form (e.g. so that they can be searched semantically), then please contact us.
